An Addition To The Alu Group Range And Released To The Market In 1969, The Eames Soft Pad LoungeR Had The Same Construction Of The ‘Ribbed’ Alu Lounger Of 1958 But With The Addition Of Three 2-Inch Separate Cushions To The Back Rest And One Larger Seat Padding. The Chair Was Considered A Luxury Option.

While Eames Chairs Are Typically American Made, They Are Very Popular In French Homes, It Is Rare To Find Them In The Vintage Market In France, As Families Don’T Like To Let Them Go.We Love The Simple Silhouette, And The Well-Worn Leather.

While The Design Was Originally Intended As A Desk Chair, We Think It Would Be A Lovely As An Addition To A Living Room Arrangement, Or Placed In A Corner In A Bedroom.
